PuddleCat 18 splashed and all went well. Went for a 3 hour cruise in 6-8 mph wind and top speed for the day with 3 folks on board was 5.9 kts. The boat was taken home by its new owner where they will fit it out per their personal requirements. The anti vortex panels worked as advertised. The shape of the hulls are similiar to the hobie 16 in concept so with those and the AVP’s I do not believe that this boat will need a dager or leeboard. So far it is looking good to keep the bottom clean and the draft low. Here are a few more photos. videos will go on the rogermannorg youtube channel.
