There is no setup except for installing the mast which takes around 30 seconds. Because it is 8.5 wide it is road legal as it is. The amas may be removed if you need to with only 4 bolts total. Also because of its width it has a wider beam and is more stable in rough conditions and because you have one ama out of the water and the ama in the water has less wetted area it is somewhat faster. Other usable sail setups\u00a0would be sunfish, laser\u00a0or homemade poly tarp.\u00a0\u00a0I have\u00a0a hiking board that\u00a0slides on the aka tubes so\u00a0you can sit there and\u00a0hike out to one side. Or you can have one on each side and fit 2 people in the boat with ease. I also have a removable board that I fit across the center hull so that you can sit high and paddle the boat in no wind conditions or getting\u00a0around in congested launch areas.
